Project Background
Nantong, Jiangsu Province, is one of the birthplaces of China's light-textile industry. Today, the output value of Nantong's textile sector exceeds RMB 200 billion. In China's home-textile e-commerce market, 50% of all sellers and 70% of all parcel shipments originate from Nantong. The "Nantong Home-Textile Index" has become a major indicator for the national home-textile industry. According to the report released at the 2021 China Nantong International High-End Textile Industry Expo, Nantong's home-textile products account for over 50% of the domestic market share.
Against the backdrop of the Belt and Road Initiative and China's dual-circulation strategy, Nantong is actively promoting intelligent upgrading and digital transformation of its home-textile industry, using a "big data +" approach to empower industry enhancement. In this context, Nantong partnered with Morewis to build an Industrial Internet Platform featuring integrated business management—covering order planning, R&D and production, logistics tracking, and supply-chain operations—based on the concepts of digital management, networked collaboration, personalized customization, and service-oriented innovation. This platform drives the digital transformation of textile enterprises and specialized markets, helping companies improve efficiency, enhance quality, and reduce operational costs.
